9 NIGHTS / 10 DAYS TURKEY TOUR - Arrival to Istanbul – Departure from Cappadocia

DAY 1

ISTANBUL (Indian dinner included)

On the time of your arrival to Istanbul airport the transferman will be waiting for you at the exit with the board and the logo/name on it, after what you will be transported to the hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
DAY 2

ISTANBUL (breakfast, Indian lunch, Indian dinner included)

After breakfast, departure from the hotel with your guide for Old City Tour Topkapı Palace Museum, that exhibits the imperial collections of the Ottoman Empire and maintains an extensive collection of books and manuscripts in its library.

Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays, Hagia Sophia Museum will be replaced on Tuesdays, Basilica Cistern will be replaced on Mondays

The Hagia Sophia, the biggest church constructed by the East Roman Empire in Istanbul, It was used as a church for 916 years but, following the conquest of Istanbul by Fatih Sultan Mehmed, the Hagia Sophia was converted into mosque.

One of Istanbul's splendid historical buildings is the Basilica Cistern located in the southwest of Hagia Sophia. This large underground cistern built by Byzantine Emperor Justinian I (527-565) was named as Yerebatan Palace ere among the people due to the marble columns rising from the water and countless seemingly like)

The Blue Mosque (Called Sultanahmet Camii in Turkish) is an historical mosque in Istanbul. The mosque is known as the Blue Mosque because of blue tiles surrounding the walls of interior design.

Blue Mosque is closed on Friday, Nuri Osmaniye Mosque will be replaced on Fridays

Hippodrome of Constantinople, located in Sultanahmet/Istanbul, was a public arena mainly for chariot races. The oldest monument of Constantinople is the Obelisk in the Hippodrome, which was erected by the emperor Theodosius I in 390, but is in fact much, much older.

Grand Bazaar, the oldest and the largest covered market place in the world is situated in the center of the city.

Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays, Spice Bazaar will replaced on Sundays

DAY 3

ISTANBUL - CANAKKALE (breakfast, local lunch, local dinner included)

Early breakfast at the hotel and departure for going to Canakkale for Gallipoli tour. The way will take about 4-5 hours.

the Gallipoli (Gelibolu) Peninsula the bloody battles fought here in 1915 are still alive in Turkish and foreign memories and hold important places in the Turkish, Australian and New Zealand national narratives. Australians and New Zealanders view the peninsula, now protected as the Gallipoli Campaign Historic Site, as a place of pilgrimage, and visit in their tens of thousands each year; they are outnumbered by Turks who, drawn by the legend of the courageous 57th regiment and its commander, Mustafa Kemal (the future Atatürk), also travel here in ever-increasing numbers to pay their respect.

In the end of tour, going to the hotel, dinner at the hotel, overnight in Canakkale.

DAY 4

CANAKKALE – KUSADASI (breakfast, local lunch, local dinner included)

Early breakfast at the hotel and check-out for going to Troy and Pergamon Antic Cities.

Troia, which is one of the most important ancient settlements of the world, and its history dating back to 3000 BC, is at the head of Turkey’s most important cultural and touristic list.The remains of Troia city in Çanakkale’s Hisarlik town indicate that there was a settlement from the Early Bronze Age to the Byzantine period (from 3000 BC – to 1200 AD).

Pergamon, which was added to the World Cultural Heritage list in 2014, has been subjected to invasions and destructions throughout its history, but is one of the settlements that has been permanently inhabited and never lost its historical importance because of its strategic location.

DAY 5

KUSADASI (breakfast, local lunch, local dinner included)

Early breakfast at the hotel and check-out for going to Ephesus and Sirince Village tour.

Ephesus; Ancient Greek city of Asia Minor, near the mouth of the Menderes River, in what is today West Turkey, South of Smyrna (now Izmir). One of the greatest of the Ionian cities, it became the leading seaport of the region. Its wealth was proverbial.

Sirince Village was formed when people were fleeing Ephesus. They settled in the mountains and named the village Cirkince which translated into ugly. The reasoning for this was to keep outsiders from getting curious and coming into the village. The name was eventually changed to Sirince, which means pretty. Greeks settled in the village at one stage and this is clear in the styling of the houses. In 1924 there was an exchange of the Greek and Turkish population.

DAY 6

KUSADASI-PAMUKKALE-ANTALYA (breakfast, local lunch, local dinner included)

Early breakfast at the hotel and check-out for going to Pamukkale and then Antalya. We will visit Pamukkale Hierapolis. The way will take about 6 hours between Kusadasi and Antalya,

Pamukkale-Hierapolis, which consists of cotton-like travertines shaped by calcium-oxide waters and the remains of the late Hellenistic and early Christian periods, is one of the most spectacular centers of antiquity.

Hierapolis, 2nd century BC, Pergamon (Pergamon) kingdom of the Attalos Dynasty established and ruled II. It was founded by Eumenes as a spa town. However, in a temple project of the Phrygians in the first place in the first half of the 3rd century BC, it was estimated by using the people of Laodicea, a Phrygian city in the temple.

Drive to Antalya after arrival to Antalya, check-in to the hotel, dinner at the hotel, overnight in Antalya.

DAY 7

ANTALYA (breakfast, local lunch, local dinner included)

After Breakfast, Antalya Old City and Waterfall tour.

Kaleici, old city with its narrow cobbled streets of historic Ottoman era houses, is the old center of Antalya. Nowadays, there are many hotels, bars, clubs, restaurants, and shopping places in this area.

Hadrian's Gate is a triumphal arch which was built in the name of the Roman emperor Hadrian, who visited Antalya in 130.

The Kesik Minare (Broken Minaret) was originally built as a Roman temple in the 2nd century AD. In the 7th century, it was converted into a Byzantine church

Düden Waterfalls are a group of waterfalls in the province of Antalya, Turkey. The waterfalls, formed by the recycle station water, are located 12 kilometres north-east of Antalya. They end where the waters of the Lower Düden Falls drop off a rocky cliff directly into the Mediterranean Sea.

DAY 8

ANTALYA - KONYA - CAPPADOCIA (breakfast, Indian lunch, Indian dinner included)

After breakfast, departure from the hotel for going to Cappadocia. On the way to Cappadocia we will visit Konya the way will take about 8 hours between Antalya and Cappadocia. We will visit Mevlana Museum and Selimiye Mosque in Konya.

Mevlana Museum, where is located in Konya City Center. Today, it is the mausoleum of Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Rumi, a Sufi mystic also known as Mevlâna or Rumi. It was also the dervish lodge (tekke) of the Mevlevi order, better known as the Whirling Dervishes.You will visit all available section in Mevlana Museum such as Matbah (Kitchen), tombs, Tilavet Chamber (Quran Reading And Chanting), Semâ-Hâne (Ritual Hall).

Selimiye Mosque is located next door to Mevlana Museum. The mosque was commissioned by, and named for, Sultan Selim II (1566-74) in the Ottoman style. Construction began in 1558 when Selim was still a prince and was completed shortly after he became sultan, in 1567.

In the end of Konya tour, we will go to Cappadocia, After arrival to Cappadocia, check-in to the hotel, dinner and overnight at the hotel in Cappadocia.

DAY 9

CAPPADOCIA (breakfast, Indian lunch, Indian dinner included)

After breakfast, full day Cappadocia Tour,

Devrent Valley, Here the hoodoos have eroded naturally to form interesting shapes...including the well-known camel rock that stands at the front of the valley.

Zelve-Pasabag valley where the iconic Fairy Chimneys dot the landscape. This is the perfect location for your guide to explain how the unique landscapes were formed as you can still see the newly forming fairy chimneys in various stages of erosion - many have caves and chapels or churches located inside. The Pasabag (or Monk's) Valley has a rich & fascinating history and offers plenty of opportunities for photos and fresh air while walking among the different rock formations.

Avanos, located along the longest river in Turkey, this ancient city was the center of the Hittite pottery-makers and today the same red and white clay from the surrounding hills is used to create the famous pottery. We can watch the artisan potters carrying on the traditions of their forefathers, using the same Hittite kick-wheel techniques that have been used for more than 4000 years.

Goreme Open Air Museum; As we tour through the many rock-cut cave churches adorned with intricate paintings from the New Testament, your guide will explain the history of the churches and the impressive iconography in the murals.

Uchisar rock-castle; With views across the region this incredible location is one of the most interesting ancient cities built into the rocks, Uchisar offers perfect panorama.

In the end of tour, going to the hotel, dinner and overnight at the hotel in Cappadocia.

DAY 10

CAPPADOCIA DEPARTURE (breakfast included)

After breakfast check out from the hotel, depending on your international flight time, transfer you to Kayseri or Nevsehir airport.
